It all began with a simple question.

-Yes-

-Nor will I-
~I promise to protect and hold you~
-I'll always need your warmth-
He stretched out his arm
~Take my hand~
I reached towards his outstretched arm
Our fingers intertwined.
My heart skipped a beat
~I've got you~
-I know-
For that singular moment, I felt safe.
