My mouth and mind can’t seem to connect
Both fight for dominance, leaving me wrecked
Despite the voice in my head screaming to stop
The voice in my throat just can’t get enough
Heat rises to my burning cheeks
Embarrassment makes me want to scream
Phantom hives terrorize my skin
As I try to balance things within
Words fall out of my mouth
Thoughts that should’ve never gotten out
Liquid lava swims in my veins
I’m a hot mess, and so is my brain

Just a cute little poem about the crippling embarrassment I feel whenever I talk
