This makes me think of Herrick's advice that we should "gather rosebuds" while we are able. I think you are right to say that time is "now,"  as change makes us new people every moment.  That we are subject to measurable time is amazing, considering that there is immeasurable time both before and after us. Anyway, a very deep and a good poem.
