we cannot take for granted the existence we already have. we might have been born a thousand memories from inception till our last day. maybe death is only the beginning of our time. i hope there are better days ahead for both of us. it's so easy to allow ourselves to get stuck & wade in rivers of sorrow. so poetess, don't lose the energy now.

I've been in this place a few times Sarah and the darkness and pain are overwhelming. Everything passes though. 
I'm still so glad to have been here despite all that. 
To have been a blink of consciousness that has felt love and wonder, seen the milky way and in so very few precious moments amidst all the distraction of human life, maybe to have been touched by the possibility of God.
