Aloe Vera For The Sunburn

Ok now, hear me.

No lover, at nights that you ease,

far from mornings in which you are at peace,

you are not the sun. Of course not.

No lover, at night you are the moon that soothes.

you are the early evening air, breeze with a beaming moon,

you are the jar of aloe vera for my sunburned skin that cools.

No lover, you are not a deep-diver, I see that now,

you are the morning light in which I cannot look away to frown,

you are my island's northern beach, my secret coastal town.

No lover, you don't have to drown in my depth,

for you are the first normal heartbeat I had after holding my breath,

you are a treat, a fool's feast, but I know you are not my daily bread.

No lover, you cannot even surf.

Should a woman kiss, **** savor or serve?

Ok now, forget me.

No lover should make love feel this much ease,

far as the lovers I have known, just go now, please,

you do not have to tell me, you cannot be my man. Of course.

No lover, you are not mine.

No lover, forget we ever spent time.

No lover, you and I won't commit another crime.

No lover, forgive my hips for moving as if I needed a dime.

Forgive me for enjoying myself a little too much of your golden honey sun,

forget me before I fornicate with another man who wants to have my son.
