Why do we think about what others might think?
Some people’s thoughts are ***** and stink.
Misjudgment, rumors, envy, and lies,
yet we still seek approval in strangers’ eyes.
Most just think shallowly, avoiding deeper thought,
accepting formed opinions — the ones they’ve been taught.
Competing, dividing, and feeding their egos,
for those who lack compassion and kindness, only pride grows.
So, the rational way of thinking is this:
our world is a huge madhouse that’s why it will never know peace.
You can’t take everything too close to your heart,
or it will surely tear you apart.
Free yourself from others’ pride-driven beliefs,
and let them pass like wind through the leaves.
In silence, choose what you hold as true,
and don’t let the chaos decide for you.
