Eventually, someday. Tomorrow, yesterday. I will never be ready For my heart to be broken again. I close my eyes And try to visualize. The cracks and crevices The ravines appearing on the surface. Flesh turns to stone Stone turns to dust Red flood pouring forth Blackened until no more. Undeniably drowning In a sea of pain The gashes on my heart Are worse than the ones on my wrists. The lights dim out I claw desperately Fighting the darkness Its dark laughter echoing in my ears. I open my eyes Vacantly, I stare. Please, do not leave For what existed becomes nothingness.
