Why do we try so hard to create something Out of nothing? Perhaps you were searching for a miracle in that Pile of nothingness instead of letting it Find you And for all one knows I might be burying what you were searching for Deep in that amassment of memoirs you believed were The happiest moments of your life And at the very same place, I find myself unearthing for an avenue to Just Breathe. Perhaps I might have chanced upon a piece which Mentioned that no one could possibly hurt Someone so beautiful like you However forgive me for all these long lost words Still do manage to find their way back home Perchance you stumbled upon the riddles I speak Which convinced you of unconditional love So you try to decode them only to find yourself High and dry All over again And in the end, what’s discoverable in that pile of nothingness Are episodes of guilt trippings waiting to be re-enacted Only to gather more.
