Listening to David Bowie’s
“The Man who sold the World”
While reading Philip K. Dick's
"The Man in the High Castle"
As I was flying between
Vienna and Lisbon
I was struck by how hard
It is to execute strategy
Because we stick in the
Now - that we know.
Looking back at all the
Companies, now all closed
That I have worked in
Who did not transform
To meet the transition
From "was" to "when",
I see clearly how
To help you see, “how”
To escape, from the
Now - that you know.
