I knew this day would come,
the day you finally disappeared from my life,
there are no traces in my body,
not in my heart, not in my mind,
of those hands that touched me,
of that voice that whispered to my ear,
of those dreams unfulfilled.
I am free of the memories,
I have free myself and for that,
I am thankful....
I am thankful because thanks to that pain
today I have more than yesterday
today I have a new road to travel,
more beautiful, more special.
