I always try and make my poems into songs As if the words don’t have enough value The poetry isn’t “art” enough But I’m learning My words are important My words are my voice My words are my own What are we but art incarnate Who am I to tell myself my art holds no value Who am I to say my art is worthless If we are art incarnate Who am I to say that I hold no value Who and I to say I am worthless

Who am I
I always try and make my poems into songs As if the words don’t have enough value The poetry isn’t “art” enough But I’m learning My words are important My words are my voice My words are my own What are we but art incarnate Who am I to tell myself my art holds no value Who am I to say my art is worthless If we are art incarnate Who am I to say that I hold no value Who and I to say I am worthless
Ending tonight with a happier one, feeling the feelings
