Death in the family,
Pain in your heart,
Numb in the face,
Playing the part.
Inside of your mind
You feel painful sting,
But you cannot cry
It’s a societal thing.
Sneaking away,
One in the dark,
You shed a tear,
Your emotional mark.
Family at the casket,
lined up like crewman
But its not manly to cry.
Its Human.

I wrote this after a friend of a friend had died. He was broken, but wouldn't cry. So I wrote this for him. Fly high pal.
