Love forgotten
seasons pass
veils are lifted
ignore the rush...
Times given to
grieving,
world unforgiving
heart missed
a beat.
Ring the bells
sound the trumpets
gates wide
enter calmness.
Today I live
Today I die
each breath
speaks
"it's all worthwhile".
My step is slow
mirrors lie
spirit lives
when I try
to Love
again
