Why can’t I let you go
You still haunt my past
I’m looking for closure that I will never get
I still have days where I miss you
I want to let you go,
But part of me is afraid to
I still hope you’ll come back to me
We were best friends now we don’t even talk
There’s still apart of me that wants things to go back
to the way they were
How can I move on when I keep looking back
It still seems like yesterday
The pain is still so real
