Sleepless

I'm tired,

My body screams for sleep,

But I'm still to scared to close my eyes,

And my heat is too incomplete,

I know tonight I'll remain awake,

Sleepless in a massive stampede,

Now it starts to get to my head,

And i begin to stop making sense,

Sleepless in the light of day,

And night's shadows too cold for my delight,

So I'll stay awake for eternity,

Insomnia isn't too far behind me,

So do i sleep and get ready for the night,

When i stay up well past the rising light????
