Ember smotherd by coal You cannot hope to win but still you fight Hoping that you  can start a light That will grow to radiate a Purifying glow. As if you ever stood a chance! They pace and watch you See you are no great danger There was once a flicker but the sparkling dance soon faded As  Cold and Dark invaded , Still you fight so tirelessly it is hard to tell Whether you will give up to perhaps be reborn - Or be  strangled for your eternity by your efforts

The Story Of A Flame
Ember smotherd by coal You cannot hope to win but still you fight Hoping that you  can start a light That will grow to radiate a Purifying glow. As if you ever stood a chance! They pace and watch you See you are no great danger There was once a flicker but the sparkling dance soon faded As  Cold and Dark invaded , Still you fight so tirelessly it is hard to tell Whether you will give up to perhaps be reborn - Or be  strangled for your eternity by your efforts
