Looking out my car's side window
I can see the world outside
Mesmerized by all these pictures
There's nothing this world can hide
Opening the pages
of a passing history book
I think of distant lands and dreams
And quickly close my eyes to look
at the slideshow that's been prepared
.....by my memories
I take a little snapshot
every time I blink
I capture it so instantly
when giving one good wink
and I am captured by these
quickly passing pictures
of my life
And I already know
that my trips been worth the ride.
