Goodnight, my sweet fruit, rest your head, Soft little thoughts drifting where dreams are led. I saw you today—you were warm, you were light, A quiet kind glow I’ll carry tonight. I waved with a smile I tried to disguise, Counting the moments I see you again in your eyes. Sleep now, my dear, let the dark be kind— I’ll meet you in dreams if you wander in mine.

Goodnight, My Sweet Fruit
