I wish I could sleep forever Away from all I see now The burden is too much to bear But why do I wake up? Another cloudy day Reveals how dark my pain is I close my eyes and hope it's the end But I still wake up. I see it all o'er me The gloomy tales within Why can't  my eyes stay closed forever Why do I wake up? I see one who can save me Who can renew my heart of shame And give me a beautiful hope Perhaps, it's for this reason I wake up.

Why do I wake up?
