The Opposite of Golden

Your silence always scares me

The sound of you alone

I wish that you were free

The same I wish for me

Our situation unmatched

Constant and misunderstood

It’s hard to stay relaxed

Tense and no desire for even food

Motivation almost gone

Without you I’m alone

I orbit, you the sun

The things I wish are not that much

Simply the sound of your voice

Is it just too much to ask

To have just what I want

For my needs are not selfish

Conceited, or malevolent

You are all I sought
