Peace is not like a dove Because doves coo And doves flap And dove's claws scrabble On the roof, But my peace Sits cross-legged On a nearly stained Carpet in a silence Encompassed by music, My peace is found In good company, My peace is found In Japanese gardens And anime, My peace is found In joyfulness of being, In open communication That comes with neither Censure nor argument, Peace, my peace, this peace, Is a current that flows Both deep and sure And in two directions, And I bless it even as it Blesses me, And thee that helps create it.
