I'm in a southern air Wrapped in winter's shame Leaves fall on an absence That can't be replaced. However long this winter's gaze may be, I feel this fire inside. I am a smoldering stone Rolling to the next shady spot Praying for some release; Some cool breeze to take me away. The scorching heat grows and pushes me closer to the sun. With no chance of relief, The only tree for me, cut down, Decays in my memory Just as cold and dead As the seasons to be.

Shade (2011)
I'm in a southern air Wrapped in winter's shame Leaves fall on an absence That can't be replaced. However long this winter's gaze may be, I feel this fire inside. I am a smoldering stone Rolling to the next shady spot Praying for some release; Some cool breeze to take me away. The scorching heat grows and pushes me closer to the sun. With no chance of relief, The only tree for me, cut down, Decays in my memory Just as cold and dead As the seasons to be.
