Afraid of the Dark

I told them I'm afraid of the dark,

Honestly, I'm not afraid of what could be lurking there in the shadows.

I'm just afraid of facing it alone.

"I can't do it!" She shakes her head furiously, "I'm afraid of the dark."

Wistfully he grabs her hand, "Don't worry, I'm here."

Hand in hand, they are ready to face the unknown together.
