*If there’s a way, I can go, through the rain, or through the snow. Pack my bag and send me on, keep me safe and out of harm, ‘til all our demons and oceans are calm.* Don’t forget me when the ships have sailed, Nor will I you, when your body is frail. After this journey, I’ll be back through this shroud. I’m writing and hoping, you will be proud. *If there’s a way, I can go, through the rain, or through the snow. Pack my bag and send me on, keep me safe and out of harm, ‘til all our demons and oceans are calm.* And after you leave, on the very last ship. I’ll be standing by, when the rain starts to drip. Then when your sails, go out of sight, I’ll fight the tears, but try as I might, I weep for this is us, at the end. Before my son, does it all again.

Where I'm Gone
*If there’s a way, I can go, through the rain, or through the snow.
