I'm not a romantic or the one you like It's not been reiterated And it hasn't for months I'm not a beauty with eligant pearls or nearly five, two I'm not who you want to see I can look right through I don't feel it I'm not your cup of tea So please stop insulting me There's a push as I try to hold you A pull away as I try to take your hand You don't like me like I do you There's a pause and swaying for a month or two You sit in silence when I speak the words You told me all I am is blue Too bad you didn't see the other colors too

Tea for Two
I'm not a romantic or the one you like It's not been reiterated And it hasn't for months I'm not a beauty with eligant pearls or nearly five, two I'm not who you want to see I can look right through I don't feel it I'm not your cup of tea So please stop insulting me There's a push as I try to hold you A pull away as I try to take your hand You don't like me like I do you There's a pause and swaying for a month or two You sit in silence when I speak the words You told me all I am is blue Too bad you didn't see the other colors too
Months ago I wrote for the last line: "I wish you saw the other colors too" sometimes it's good to give poems time just like anything really.
