a million years

the gold reflected in your hair

from the sun dancing off the ocean

will never amount to all he's searching for

when you wake up alone in the morning

you grew up on hip hop

and he was sort of punk rock

and I bet that's what he told you

when he walked out the door

let him go, love

know he'll never come back

I believe you'll love him a million years

just don't expect the same

so put on your heels

and play your games

and find yourself a heaven

somewhere new

lana del rey breaks my heart

on a sidenote, I should probably start clarifying between personal poetry and inspired poetry

but even I'm having trouble distinguishing the difference. maybe I'll just post stories with the poems or something.
