Nkem, With endless love, with faith A heart, they say, is won. In that hope these thousand nights But mine, to claim, is none. Nkem, Are a thousand nights all I can get For you, for me, for us? A thousand lonely Nights in wait For one night to be just. Nkem, Let it be sung, A song out loud A song of love and pain, So that never a thousand nights' Vigil be gone in vain.

Nkem (Vigil Nights)
Nkem, With endless love, with faith A heart, they say, is won. In that hope these thousand nights But mine, to claim, is none. Nkem, Are a thousand nights all I can get For you, for me, for us? A thousand lonely Nights in wait For one night to be just. Nkem, Let it be sung, A song out loud A song of love and pain, So that never a thousand nights' Vigil be gone in vain.
