Time in its essence has no present A micro second and then its gone into past To merge with our collective thoughts of days gone by Of marriages that turn from love to despise Of children that were once only a glint in our eyes Of youth that disappears as we build up speed towards inevitable demise What fills the time from conception to dissection of our lives When those survived by us pass judgement on a sentence none will survive
