lake mirrors the sky
as the sun sets
water refractions hypnotize me-
waves make music
delicately with the shells
as i sit on a rock,
contemplate
lost in thought
my eyes catch a mouse
sitting on a rock, just like me
looking towards the lake
maybe it was contemplating too
