Magpies

Looking at my wounded heart,

Wondering why I played my part.

One for sorrow, Two for joy...

I fell in love with you,

Little did I know, you loved her too.

Three for a boy, Four for a girl...

Sweet moonlit walks, the long cold night.

I fell for you, in broad daylight.

Five for silver, Six for gold...

You went back to her, I know it to be true.

But maybe, just maybe, you miss me too.
