Love felt like a lotus flower — picked only by those who quietly craved love. Then I found your soul. You were not the loud one, you were like a stream joining a river as if you had always belonged there. I love the smell of your perfume — how my sheets carry you each morning, the bed feels warmer when you lie on it, and my first thought is always you when I wake. I love your voice — it floats in the air when you whisper my name. To be honest, dearest — I will never regret bumping into you on that bridge. You are, and always will be, my favorite unexpected chapter in my novel.
