I’ve written words that no man would share My thoughts and prayers Those that never cared I’ve written letters of love I never shared I’ve asked questions to answers That weren’t there “Why man would leave you?” A question I asked her often “Was it love that was never there?” Emotional comfort was something new That type of intelligence was rare It was at Eden’s garden A love that was hardened Through complications and tongues That spoke in lustful actions A dialect I’d speak often. Through shared grief Knowledge was given through a divine fruit It was pressure, it was hardship, A way to make an excuse To watch the naked eye receive a **** cloth. “I feel for you, I walk through fire and burn for you, Your efforts are tired, The one you love, has turned against you Those desires, what made you put out that fire?” You would question your existence. “Was it sacrifice to make another happy? Was it temptations from the other side? Was it a ‘protector’ that took advantage of you?” Was it your pride? You turned your back against me For better judgement What if Adam took a bite out the apple? Would he have been treated different? Would it be the righteousness of man? Or the cowardice hiding behind God? Would it be rewritten where Eve is to blame? When reality man has caused us To be eternally ******

Divine Fruit Eaten by a Coward
