White noise emanates from the television Despite volume Her thoughts shriek His voice echos Bouncing off the walls of her mind With every blink a film strip of the past is replayed She can't escape it She's playing keep away with herself And losing Her head lay still But the earth sways Rocking her fading heart She entrusted him Already several shades of grey He applied the final coat Grave digger Only one grave to dig Hers

Grave Digger
