Mary K

Meet this girl, a disposition so great

A **** little body, a pretty little face

& for all she's worth in the day in my life

I'd love to weigh in but she ain't worth the fight

So now it passes on in the days of yore

Unknowingly saved my heart from the sore

It's really too bad, for the fondness we cared

Could last for the lifetime we could have shared

Kept on missing, as the wheel it turns

Solace found in watching time burn

Patience persists to the far side of time

If the season was right, she would have been mine.
