Your silhouette twitches on my wall In the flicker of a lavender candle. To lay and watch for hours is my heaven, Listen to this candle breathe. But the temptation to embrace is too overwhelming. Disappointment ensues reality, A silhouette can never be grasped. The wick is short and the wax liquid. New candle desperately sought, found and lit Vanilla.

Rising Smoke
