I often like to imagine what I'd do, If I had the powers of fiction. So, another character of mine, Is this idea implied in diction. His name is Joan, He's from a warrior race, From one of my favorite shows. He never knew his parents, Was on his own till he was ten, Then, when he was finally brought to a planet, He was killed and separated from his friends. His soul was tortured by evil beings, Trying to create a living, breathing vessel of hate, And they succeeded. Dark Joan, his closest friend. Joan found another warrior, And they married and had two sons, Before she left him, searching the stars, For a purpose beyond him. It would be nearly twenty years before they'd meet again, Along with the surprise of his daughters. At this time, he'd be in another world, Ali's world, trying to help them grow stronger. Yet, as Joan met his wife again, He realized that she wasn't who she was, And it broke him. After many a battle, And the loss of both his sons, And after trying desperately to cling to, What remained of the one he loved. Joan concluded, That his immortality was a curse. That it was just an excuse, For his heart to shatter as his friends and family faded. He secluded himself from the world, And lost his mind. He tried to destroy himself, And he nearly died. Till another immortal being, Ali's mom, Found him after two centuries, His mind gone. To make a long story short, They fell in love, And now Joan's trying to carry on, To honor the ones who are long gone; That's the story of the tragic god.

Another character from my fanfiction. I guess you could say he's technically the main character now. I love writing him, since he has so much weight in years hidden behind his blue eyes. His story is truly a tragedy, and I'm debating whether or not to end it in a tragic way, or to give him a happy ending. Time will tell!
