What little courage I have I left through the door as you slept. And right now I'd rather Exchange ten seconds of life Than to kiss you again. For fear that I stumble down, Right back into the door. I try to hide my secret letter Somewhere you wouldn't think to look— On the pillow next to you. So I hold my thumb In the air, walking backwards. And maybe I'll kiss you once Again when we're older And you are dead.

"Free Walking"
What little courage I have I left through the door as you slept. And right now I'd rather Exchange ten seconds of life Than to kiss you again. For fear that I stumble down, Right back into the door. I try to hide my secret letter Somewhere you wouldn't think to look— On the pillow next to you. So I hold my thumb In the air, walking backwards. And maybe I'll kiss you once Again when we're older And you are dead.
