I stand facing The setting Sun eyes fixed on it feet buried in sand. waves rise and run as if to welcome me and the restless ocean dances along allured again by the mighty Sun. foam and salt wash over me and cleanse me In depth As if it’s nature’s way. I wade further Sinking into the raw but softened earth with one lone wish – May I be taken to the Earth’s quiet lap to become one with her stillness And forget about the tides within me.

Earth's lap
I stand facing The setting Sun eyes fixed on it feet buried in sand. waves rise and run as if to welcome me and the restless ocean dances along allured again by the mighty Sun. foam and salt wash over me and cleanse me In depth As if it’s nature’s way. I wade further Sinking into the raw but softened earth with one lone wish – May I be taken to the Earth’s quiet lap to become one with her stillness And forget about the tides within me.
