how can somebody hide in just one syllable,
you know,
how can somebody hide pieces of themselves
in the sharp way in which I fold my arms,
in the colours that i sometimes wear -
in how i try to do no harm
and the way i wear my hair,
the style of my dress
plus my thing for blue:
i'm an arrant
mess, you know,
just between
me and
you.

a syllable/structure experiment: from twelve syllables to one.
this kind of vein is the only one my words seem to want to come from at the moment. letting go/hanging on is fairly relevant right now, I suppose.
