Pretty lil’ butterfly Fragile wings begin to fly And buckle in the gentle breeze And as you tumble, Watch the bumble bees Watch in pain As they fly with ease. Watch and wonder Why you cannot fly like them; Roam the air as they do. Butterfly, Lend me your ear. Bumble bees -scientifically- Should not fly. Neither should you, With your open and bleeding wing, But you have a choice; Let the pain sting Eternally… …Or learn from it. My little butterfly, Bumble bees do not know they can’t fly… The same way… … that we never realised we can. So when you’re ready… And it may take a while to heal… Spread your wings… And fly.
