Who do you think you are to judge the way I smile or how much I cry Is my pain scaring you? Should I apologize for suffering? Am I speaking too fast, too loud, or not enough? Are my quirks troubling you? Don’t pity me, don’t patronize me, don’t be afraid. I am not my diagnosis, or how many meds I take. I’m just a human being trying to survive in a world built for people like you

A world not for me
Who do you think you are to judge the way I smile or how much I cry Is my pain scaring you? Should I apologize for suffering? Am I speaking too fast, too loud, or not enough? Are my quirks troubling you? Don’t pity me, don’t patronize me, don’t be afraid. I am not my diagnosis, or how many meds I take. I’m just a human being trying to survive in a world built for people like you
