Every night, before she goes to sleep The monsters in her head will growl deep She'll try to push them away Her eyes closed, her mind astray She'll kept the tears from flowing Wishing that soon she'll start fading For the monsters have already won Left her with sorrow, a ton A new wound in her heart Doesn't know where to start So she'll sleep in pain Hoping tomorrow won't be the same again.

Monster Every Night
Every night, before she goes to sleep The monsters in her head will growl deep She'll try to push them away Her eyes closed, her mind astray She'll kept the tears from flowing Wishing that soon she'll start fading For the monsters have already won Left her with sorrow, a ton A new wound in her heart Doesn't know where to start So she'll sleep in pain Hoping tomorrow won't be the same again.
