agreeing to this relationship
was like realigning the northern lights
so i could have my own personal
show for keepsake. but really,
i just want to keep you, with
your stargazes and lit-up fire thoughts
that could make or break my
sentences that let me follow my desire
to believe in love or lead me
to the realization that i have no idea
if i have the foundation to
let your feather body and soft angles
hold me up to the light.
