I looked across the room my gaze hazy from the sweet alcohol and saw you dancing with another girl Your fluid movements of adoration clear as crystal among the sea of people I saw the way you looked at her The same way you looked at me seven songs ago I imagined myself dancing underneath the soft lights our feet lightly dancing with each other my milky gaze lost in the sea of your beautiful blue eyes But instead I am drowning in this sea of people, lost and lonely.
