You are the morning gate I rush to greet in Autumns when we meet Trail around me form my cape, when darker days repeat Fore dawn you embrace me Sprinkle dew on my hair just like last time You dance and shape my breath, in your wake I will confess I wish we didn't face I wish the sun shone and took your place here Oh how I long for warmth, cover me in light of noon The stupor ends right there At the touch of your loving silvered hair My smile isn't weary, in darkness we keep cheery And now I leave you here Awoken by your cold I am decided In the days where darkness reigns, I have the brightest smile You are the morning gate I rush to greet in Winters when we meet Trails around me form my cape, when darker days repeat

The morning gate
