What would you give to see lost loved ones live, to hold onto someone you knew who died? What allows you to remain indifferent to atrocities, the craters, broken bones, bombed homes, children crying whilst somewhere their parents are dying, or the reverse of said tragedy, the landscape that once held generations of families on its fertile soil, now turned into an apocalypse of biblical proportions? What would it take for you to use my eyes, and see humanity, not how it is but how it could, should be? In loving you and them, all the displaced children, the brothers, and sisters, the moms, and dads, the grandparents, aunties, and uncles, the cousins, and friends, I am including you in the circle of hope and safety, my dream of a place where we can all be free and happy. So, will you please join me?
