I stroll the garden with a pal I breathe in the fresh scent of lilies in the wind Pollen blows everywhere I step I breathe in and think this is the life I want for myself I want a life where I can stroll through gardens every day And listen to the slight ruffle of flowers brushing their friends next to them I want a life where I can remember how beautiful everything is Where I can remember what it feels like to be content To not have to worry about all the wilting flowers And the growing weeds in our world I want a life where I can come outside And not be met with pain and suffering But instead met with love and kindness The flowers don’t judge No one in le potager judges You can walk the paths Despite what’s going on outside You can freely walk the paths of le potager
