As she cried he held her and dried her tears.
he murmured soft words of love and comfort.
He protected her night and day .
when she was lost he guided her.
she couldn't see him though she knew he was there.
It was more than his duty to protect her, he loved her.
And when she wed he wept, for she did not need him no more.
