The air vibrates in my ears a mighty machine overwhelms the land without revealing itself in other dimensions Not an object, not flying only unidentified Invisible, intangible Panic is futile The sound settles too heavy to caress with a humming voice Something hypnotic rattles softly, to which I refuse to yield I want to tell it, not to be absorbed by this hungry creature not to be unknowingly devoured A light breath rustles fleetingly over me; I am awake and won't be liquefied
