I lay down on the floor.
Solid, honest, dependable.
Comforting in the strangest of ways.
The floor is always there
To stop me from falling
To whatever lies beneath.
It's cold and so simple
But it's all that makes me comfortable
It's so real and unimpressive,
It is disguisedly refreshing.
